This is how you can play the classic Flight Simulator games in the cockpit of Flight Simulator 2020
Microsoft has added
an easter egg to Flight Simulator 2020's 40th Anniversary
Update that makes it possible to play the first four titles in the series in
the cockpit. To activate it, you'll need to start a game in the Diamond
DA62 plane and enable the ELT in the cockpit (bottom right of the dash), Redditor HughesMDflyer4 discovered .
From there you can
choose between Flight Simulator 1 to 4 at the top of the left display in your
virtual cockpit. You can control the games by pressing the buttons at the
bottom of the monitor. The sims are fully playable, although due to the
small size and slightly awkward controls, it's obviously not the most ideal way
to relive the PC classics from the 80s. But if you are bored during a long
flight in Flight Simulator 2020, what better way to pass the time than with
even more Flight Simulator?
In addition to this
easter egg, the anniversary update adds even more nostalgic things , such as a number of classic aircraft (including the
Airbus A310-300), airports (for example the old familiar Meigs Field) and
missions from earlier parts.
